Games

GAMES!! This has turned into something we both really look forward to!

Our game time is a set amount of time for one-on-one playing. I select the game ahead of time and set a timer. We play for that amount of time and then clean up. When it is Barrett’s Choice, a time in our schedule when he chooses the activity, he can always choose to play the game more.

Often times the game I expect to be a flop is a huge hit!

We all know this time with our children is so important to their development. I argue that it is crucial to our own growth and development as well! I need this time scheduled because I do play with my kids throughout the day, however, it is not always like this; in such a focused way, doting on just one of them.
